Surface Treatment at Our Facilities

Dedicated infrastructure to treat your parts and equipment under controlled conditions.

Technochim operates two complementary facilities in Ghislenghien, Belgium, and Tournus, France, together representing 3,300 m² of infrastructure dedicated to surface treatment.

Our Infrastructure & Capabilities

Resources Tailored to Your Project

3,300 m² • 2 facilities • International shipping • Lifting up to 12 t • Treatment baths • Test benches

01

Two Complementary Facilities

Ghislenghien — Belgium: 2,100 m²
Tournus — France: 1,200 m²

Two locations enabling each project to be directed to the most suitable treatment resources.

02

Handling & Lifting

Handling and lifting equipment up to 12 tonnes enables the processing of heavy parts, tanks, and industrial equipment.

Feasibility is assessed based on dimensions, weight, geometry, process, and the resources of the selected facility.

03

Treatment Baths & Equipment

Dedicated installations enable various operations including cleaning, degreasing, pickling, passivation, electropolishing, and surface finishing.

04

Test Benches & Development

Testing resources enable testing, characterization, and optimization of treatments and processes before industrial deployment.

An environment designed to treat, test, and inspect your equipment.

Your Need

When to Choose Treatment at Our Facilities?

Our facilities can handle a wide variety of parts, from small components measuring a few centimeters to industrial equipment weighing several tonnes. Parts and equipment are shipped to us from around the world to benefit from our mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical treatments.

Our Approach

From Receipt to Return

Processing is defined according to material, dimensions, weight, geometry, initial surface condition, and desired result.

Receipt → Preparation → Treatment → Inspection → Return

01

Assess

Analyze the equipment and define the treatment objective.

02

Prepare

Determine the facility, handling resources, and treatment sequence.

03

Treat

Implement the appropriate mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical operations.

04

Inspect & Return

Perform inspections and document results according to agreed criteria and scope, then prepare equipment for return.

Controlling Treatment and Execution Conditions

For Technochim, performance is not limited to the result achieved on the surface. It also involves controlling the quality of operations, personnel safety, and the environmental impact of treatments.

Facility Organization and Management System

Our facilities are organized with particular attention to operation traceability, safety, management of chemicals, baths, rinsing, waste, and effluents, as well as responsible resource use.

This approach is part of our management system certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Controlling the surface also means controlling the conditions under which it is treated.

Technochim Expertise

The Same Expertise, On-Site or at Our Facilities

Technochim combines surface science, chemistry, mechanical and electrochemical treatments, industrial resources, and inspection to adapt treatment to the actual condition of each piece of equipment.

Diagnose → Define Strategy → Treat → Inspect → Protect

When equipment can be transported, we can assess whether it can be treated at our facilities in Belgium or France. When relocation is not suitable, Technochim can also intervene at the client’s site, in Belgium, France, and internationally, depending on project feasibility and constraints.

Treatments and Complementary Services

Improve the surface condition of metal parts through electrochemical treatment.
Promote the passive state of stainless steel surfaces with a treatment tailored to their condition and intended use.
Adapt the surface finish to cleanliness, appearance, and usage requirements.
Characterize the condition of surfaces and observed anomalies to guide investigations and necessary actions.

Can Your Equipment Be Treated at Our Facilities?

Wherever you are in the world, provide us with the material, dimensions, weight, a few photographs, and the desired result.

Our teams will determine feasibility, process, the most suitable facility, and processing conditions.
